The Shield Home Care solution works seamlessly with any existing landline, mobile phone network and operating system – meaning there’s no disruption to your existing communication systems and set-up is quick and easy. The system can support your entire Home Care team, providing peace of mind for employees out in the field and the line managers responsible for their safety back at the office.

Lone workers logon using their secure ID and PIN, and schedule safety check-ins at times that suit their working requirements. If they feel under threat at any time, they can trigger an alert discreetly and easily by pressing a button on their Fob or with a few key strikes on a mobile phone.

Shield Lone Worker automatically calls at the appointed time to check on their safety and, if a call goes answered or an alert be triggered, the system contacts a pre-agreed cascade of contacts, alerting them to the situation. When used in conjunction with the smartphone web app or fob, lone workers’ locations can be quickly identified using GPS.

Back at the office, line managers access real-time information through the powerful Shield Administration Portal. Managers can monitor the location and activity of all their Lone Workers, respond to alerts, generate reports, schedule training and update other team members, 24 hours a day/ 365 days a year.
